The Greathouse Home
The Greathouse Home was created for pregnant and postpartum individuals who need a safe and stable place to land while preparing for the next chapter of their lives. Pregnancy and early motherhood can already feel overwhelming on their own. Trying to navigate housing instability, financial stress, limited support, or major life changes during that time can make things even harder.
The home was created to offer more than temporary shelter. The goal is to create a supportive environment where residents can slow down, regroup, recover, and begin working toward long-term stability for themselves and their children.
A More Intentional Living Environment
The Greathouse Home is designed to feel supportive, structured, and community-centered rather than institutional. The home will intentionally remain smaller in order to create a more personal and supportive environment for each resident.
Pregnant individuals with one child under the age of one may also be considered depending on the needs of the family and space within the home.

More Than Housing
The Greathouse Home is meant to create structure without removing dignity. Residents are encouraged to focus on healing, preparing for motherhood, rebuilding stability, and creating a healthier foundation for themselves and their children.
The home is rooted in compassion, accountability, community care, and maternal wellness while recognizing the realities many individuals face during pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
As the home continues to grow, Sacred Womb Foundation hopes to build strong relationships throughout Delaware and surrounding communities to help connect residents with additional opportunities, support systems, and long-term resources.
